Weekly 1-6 update!

Hello,welcome

On Friday,We had a Market day!-We all loved to sell our products to customers who were there at
Market day.My group(me,Julia)had only had 14 prayer rocks to sell.Most of them selled out fast people kept coming and coming.....It was MAD!-We all really enjoyed selling our market day Products!


Last Tuesday,We went to high school musical(stage show)It was placed at catholic cathedral college.
They had really AWESOME actors in it it was amazing!!!!-but the funny part was when a guy backstage he forgot to turn it off so you could here was he was saying it was funny-everyone enjoyed It!



And last of all We had a service day.Which in that case I was put into group to see st John of God.
It is a beautiful place to go.We had lots of fun.The People at St John of God,LOVED the Activities
that we brang to share with them We all had a great time!

Week 7 marshmallow challenge!!

Hello Everyone
Today I will be talking to you about the marshmallow challenge!

How does the Marshmallow challenge work?
The teacher gave us 20 sticks of dry spaghetti,one marshmallow, 1 m of tape and 1 m of string.We had 18 minutes to build the tallest tower with a marshmallow on  top,we did not have to use all of the pieces the teacher gave us. When the time started,You had to make a plan before you started,.After the plan we were rushing all around the room. You only had 18 minutes that's not very long.But we put together the pieces for the tower,but at the end, the tower just fell all the way down so we didn't really get a place,But It was fun anyway!


The Science Roadshow of course!
Then of course we had a Rodashow,I mean the science roadshow!I thought It was going to be
scary,but It wasn't after all.We got to go to every station in the hall.There were puzzles.quizzes,games and many more.And there even were fire.Everyone was like...wow..ooooo.We did so many amazing experiments with the team of the Science Roadshow,it was AWESOME.I loved It soooo much
I want to do It again!!!

End of term Reflection!

Weekly update 28/6

Hello everyone,

First off I would like to talk about is the welcoming ceremony that we did for the new families that are new at our school.  We welcomed them in by singing a traditional Maori song.  Then the new families walked into the hall first.  We sang a couple of songs and Mrs Cummings presented the Bibles to the new families.


The second thing I would like to talk about is our class winning pizza. We won pizza because we were the first class to get our Spellathon sheets into the office and to return the money as well.  So on Monday for lunch we are going to have Hawaiian pizza.



The third and final thing is that for our inquiry we are making prayer rocks.  Next Monday we are going to start painting our prayer rocks for us to sell at Market day next term. And after we paint our
Prayer rocks we are going to put some quotes onto our prayer rocks like "Don't worry, be happy" and many others!

Hello,everyone

This week I have enjoyed ...

doing my inquiry product to sell.  We have just started doing this.  And in early next term we're going to do a market day so anyone can buy our product.  What we are making is Prayer rocks.  So we are going to paint the prayer rocks and then put some quotes  to put on our prayer rocks.


One thing I need to work on is ...

My netball stepping because yesterday I played netball for winter sport.  And I was Attack on the court and when I caught the ball I was running as well when I was still holding the ball.  So I think I need to work on my netball stepping.


An Interesting thing I learnt is ...

How to write a narrative.  Because at first I didn't know what a narrative is.  But I learned how to write a narrative by watching a video on how to write a narrative.And it helped me a lot.So now we are starting to write a narrative.

Weekly update

hello everyone,

This week we have been learning about Mary the mother of Jesus
we have been working on our slideshow.For the past 2 weeks now.
And we have been learning about the stages of Mary's life and how it happened.
The stages in Mary's life are the Annunciation,the Visitation,the birth of Jesus,
the Presentation of Jesus in the temple and a few more stages of Mary's life.







Yesterday we did winter sport and it was my first time doing winter sport
 and you had to choose a sport out of ripper rugby,soccer,netball and hockey.
What I choose was netball and I've never played it before and I can't believe I got a goal.
But the other team still won because they got 11 and we got 3 points I really enjoyed playing it
It was so much fun!

Hello everyone,

Today is a special day today.
It is about a kid not too long ago where one day at school he wore a  Pink shirt and Lots of 
People bullied him just for wearing a pink shirt
So today is a special day for him-Anti bullying day.So everyone gets to celebrate this day!
And at our school we get to wear  pink shirts so today we're are all wearing pink shirts 
to stand up for the bullying.So that's why we are wearing Pink shirts.
And after morning tea all of our school is going outside to take a Pink shirt photo!
And that will be cool!
So that's why we all have to wear pink shirts.
